We a semester-long project tasked with the production of a pitch deck for an original video game. We are a team of artists and designers from the Entertainment Technology  Center exploring the process associated with creating a concept from scratch, and the preproduction necessary to bring it to a fully fledged game concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This semester, we are designing a game called Duet. Duet is a 3D adventure game with a musical theme, set in a fantasy world inside a giant singing whale. When a disease spreads through the whale and creates dissonance that corrupts its magical song, the player must find a way to use their own music to cure the disease and save the whale. They will explore the fantastical world inside of the whale\u2019s organs, play music that reshapes the environment, and study the disease to gather pieces of a healing song that will destroy it.
