Dev Blog: Week 11

Project Summary

This week we had playtest day on Saturday. We changed the game to outside of RPIS

Current Schedule

  • Fix bugs for tutorial
  • Work on win state
  • Change the game to RPIS for Playtest day
  • Playtest day on Saturday

What went well

  • Add more functions to win state
  • Prepare and playtest on Playtest day

Art Update

Turret Update

Shadows of the turrets are successfully added to the game scene.

Book Update

This VFX is added to the book after player have win each level of the game. The player will click the book and the VFX will appear and then a button will show up for the player to go to the next scene.

Programming Update

Update Win State

We added fireworks on semantic sky after player win each level.

Change game to RPIS

We recorded 3 new VPS points outside of RPIS and also recorded playback. Then we change the gameplay to the new VPS points for the ETC playtest day.

Playtest Day

We playtest our game outside of RPIS. There are total of 19 playcenters age ranged from 11 to 63. Overall we got positive feedback form them and we found some bugs we needed to fix.
