Dev Blog: Week 12

Project Summary

This week we prepared for the soft opening on next Monday and we keep our game in the RPIS. We changed level 3 to out door to give the faculty a better understanding of the game on on the bridge instead of indoors. We keep updating the art assets and we added collecting a piece of photo of Hot Metal Bridge at the end of each level.

Current Schedule

  • Prepare for soft opening
  • Update art assets
  • Update map view
  • Update win state after winning all 3 game
  • Thursday off due to Spring Carnival
  • Meeting with ETC Alumni Göksu Uğur 

What went well

  • Add cart to map view
  • Add giant enemy at the last level of the game
  • Add photos for winning each game
  • Implement win state

Art Update

Map Update

This cart is added to the map view and the player in the map view can push the cart form one level of the game to the next level.

UI Update

Some UI tutorial are added to the game. When it’s calibrating, the grid will move up and down to give the player a feeling of scanning the space.

After winning each game, the player will collect a piece of the photo and after winning
