In Week Two, our team presented the initial design concept to the client and discussed the Apple Developer Kit, exploring the functionalities that could be achieved. Learn More →

In Week Three, we had our first 1/4 walkthrough for feedback and idea refinement. Learn More →

During Week Four, our group focused on two aspects: testing traditional games without digital devices and exploring how the Apple Watch could enhance these games by creating demos.  Learn More → 

Five

During Week Five, our team continued working on the existing mini-game prototype, refine the old gameplay through playtesting, and devised an additional gameplay on technical aspect. We also established the game theme, crafted a narrative for each mini-game, and combined them into a coherent and complete story. Learn More →

For the Week Six, which is the week before the half, our team continually developed based on: 1.the existing prototype demo, adding the function of footstep count and distance measurement, and build up all mini games in on App. 2.Enabling multiple Apple Watch pushing all data via server 3.Integrated each mini game with the theming within 2D art 4.Start framing out user flow, and developing interaction flow prototype on Apple Watch for the whole game. In Week Nine, our group gathered all the feedback from the previous half and formulated a set of questions we wanted to address. Learn More →

Weekly blog week 10 This week, half of our team went to GDC. The rest of the team focused on two aspects: solved the server problems and developed the app’s user flow and wireframe, from tutorials to the end of the Truth or Lie game. Learn More →

During Week 11, within an integrated wireframe of our game, “Truth or Lie,” we focused on implementing this flow into an actual build. Learn More →

Twelve

For this week, our group made progress in three direction: preparing the second round pitch, developing UI modules and working on the server, and finally preparing for the Saturday playtest. Learn More →
