Coming back for last week’s playtest day, we record feedbacks from our play testers and use them to guide the future direction. A lot of the play testers do not have any experience with ARPG games and a lot of the interactions we now have is not clear for them to understand. Although we kind of expect that to happen, we still want to make it clearer for the audiences and also put soft limitation on how player’s input can influence the playthrough.
One of the major progress was that we made a boss arena for the fight to take place. The arena is close to complete and we are going to integrate the previous demo into this arena.
Moving from this point of the project, our main task now is to iterate assets and adding more enemy moves into the current demo. We also need to figure out a way of dealing with player input, we need to make it less influential in the game so that it will not break the current system.
