This week, as our art refinements make progress, the rest of the team is actively trying to define what we have explored and how it can be shared with the world. This is not just because final presentation is coming up and the semester is ending. It is precisely because we have made something we are really proud of, and looking back on our journey, we know we have defined and solved critical problems that could have arisen that we think it’s to the utmost respect to both this interaction space and to our efforts to properly document and formally discuss how to explain our projects to people other than us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This question has to be broken down into the following smaller sub-problems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Who is our audience? Are they familiar with games? Narrative? Experimental experiences?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Why do they care? What do they need to know? <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. What is exactly our medium? What were our efforts thrown into this whole semester? Was is to create something with the phones only? Or a narrative experience? What about the visual flow and UX considerations we all tried all of hard to tackle? How do we define ourselves?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. What parts of our project do we need to emphasize? The exploration? The insights? What are the insights? How can we define our design pillars? (see Dave Culyba’s Design Pillars lecture)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
