A lot of this week was spent on iterating after the feedback from playtest day, with team discussions including some kind of pause to interrupt gameplay and provide a brief moment of rest, allowing the players to look up at the monitors to observe what was happening on the livestream.
In addition, to solve the issues with running backwards, Arthur implemented a new camera perspective that allows him to run backwards while avoiding objects by snapping the camera angle to a different rotation for the admin.
Esther continued work on getting the lobby area set up, exporting the model and prepping it for implementation into UEFN, so that way we could have a holding area for players as they entered.

Ean and Esther also taped some shots of the different Lego sets we had to act as establishing shots for our intro.
Harley worked on updating the particle effects of the zombies, adding colors to them in order to make it more clear what was following the player.

Isabella worked on getting more stickers attached to the minifigures in preparation for our final shoots. Ralph worked with us to solve the issue of the set being in focus while the background wasn’t by using one of our phones that has a nicer camera on it since it could more easily balance the focus between the background and foreground.
We also met with Stuart Harris this week, a Lego Master affiliated with Lego House and has experience in posing Lego Models for promotional material. While there wasn’t a ton of overlap between the things we working on, it was still incredibly interesting to speak with him and learn about his experience working in Lego themed location based entertainment.
