Some of the key points raised are summarized below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Instructions were not clear or obvious enough.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aiming the in-game rays proved difficult and had a steep learning curve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The game&#8217;s guide voice was not easily discernible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many players expressed eagerness to experience the second level.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Development Plan for This Week<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to the feedback received, and to continue the development of the second level, we have outlined the following plan for this week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimize the audio for in-game instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve the UI guidance effect and, if time permits, add a tutorial interface for new players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the scenario design for the second level, including designing the level route.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design the transition from the first level to the second level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrate and ensure smooth gameplay across the first and second levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finalize the gameplay mechanics for the second level:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flashlight: When the light shines on enemies, it will temporarily freeze them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gun: A weapon to be used by the player to shoot enemies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"743\" height=\"437\" src=\"https:\/\/projects.etc.cmu.edu\/cavern\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-261\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.etc.cmu.edu\/cavern\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image-10.png 743w, https:\/\/projects.etc.cmu.edu\/cavern\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image-10-300x176.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 743px) 100vw, 743px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We finally finished the initial demo design of the second level this week and plan to optimize and improve all levels in the next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>add video<\/strong> Lv2<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Playtest Feedback and Suggestions During last week&#8217;s playtest, we received a substantial amount of feedback and suggestions from our participants.
