    Jessica’s Feedback Review: We had a meeting with Jessica to review the mixed feedback we created with real feedback from her talk and sample feedback we wrote after mimicking real feedback after her talk. We’re grateful for her feedback and are excited to incorporate her suggestions into our work. After this review, she said she’s totally not able to recognize what is real feedback and what is sample feedback, which means it’s feasible to mix sample feedback into real feedback in our product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Jessica’s Categorization<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Playtest Day Proposals: Since the Playtest day is coming, we started considering how we arrange it. Based on our design goal and current progress, Jessica gave us an suggestion about the testing schedule. We can have participants draw a picture of a flower, do Filer on some feedback in a form of paper testing, to test the function of flipping the sample feedback cards and learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    She also gave us a picture of emotional wheel that we could use during the testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    DAS Class Effort: Our team has been collaborating with the DAS class to research on the how Filer could train students to write high quality feedback. However, we got few participants in that class and it’s not efficient to use the class to test. Jessica suggested us to see if we can talk to the students who didn\u2019t fill out the survey to chat with them and ask why they didn\u2019t participate in the survey. (We can email the entire class and ask them to respond if they want to) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    UI Style Votes: Our UI designer spent some time researching UI theme that might be suitable for our product and she made slides to let us vote for top 2 favorites. We voted on these UI styles and explained why these fit our project and target audience. This was a fun exercise that allowed us to explore different design options and identify which ones resonate most with our target audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Overall, although most of us were at GDC but we were still making progress. We know that there’s still a lot of work to do, but we’re confident that we’re on the right track. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
