Dreameow is a team of 6 ETC students collaborating with Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit organization in Kissimmee, Florida that provides cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. One of the many attractions that Give Kids The World offers its guests is the WonderLab, a makerspace which aims to introduce kids to STEAM concepts in a fun and interactive way. This semester, we will be designing and installing a new experience that utilizes one of the existing platforms in the WonderLab, combining a mixture of digital and physical inputs to allow children to learn, create and explore.
Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida. Here, children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations.
