Embrace

an interactive, collaborative and transformative

learning experience

“A lifelong process of self-reflection and self-critique whereby the individual not only learns about another’s culture, but starts with an examination of their own beliefs and cultural identities.”

“The overall purpose of the process is to be aware of our own values and beliefs that come from a combination of cultures in order to increase understanding of others.”

Yeager KA, Bauer-Wu S. Cultural humility: essential foundation for clinical researchers. Appl Nurs Res. 2013;26(4):251-256. doi:10.1016/j.apnr.2013.06.008

Transformational Framework

We used the Transformational Framework written by Sabrina Culyba as a pre-production tool for research and design exploration and identified our audience and context, high-level purpose, subject matter experts, and domain concepts to guide our experience design.

Working with Clients

We worked with an external client to discuss and determine the goal and design, and created a final deliverable from scratch within 14 weeks. The process also involved two internal stakeholders for weekly product reviews and design iterations.

Waterfall + Agile Methodology

We applied a majority of waterfall supplemented by agile production style with pre-determined Gantt-chart milestones for pre-production, production, and post, GDD, and flexible sprints, polishing and QA/test plans.
