Week 6: 02/17/2025 – 02/21/2025

Overview

This week we refined our floor plan, progressed on hardware integration and telegram visualization and voice input, and finalized key elements for the Halves Presentation.

Meetings

We met with our client in the Chosky Lobby, where we fine-tuned the floor plan and discussed our progress. They expressed interest in adding a memorial for those lost in the tragedy and suggested mixing luggage classes rather than keeping them strictly separated. We found this approach feasible and will explore ways to seamlessly integrate it, enhancing the reflective nature of the installation while creating a more fluid and engaging storytelling experience.

In our consultation with Shirley, we discussed the importance of designing interactions that feel meaningful and intuitive, prompting users to continue exploring. We were also advised to start publicizing the experience through UEIS to generate awareness and excitement.
