This week is our midterm week, so we spent time on preparing for the presentation. Instead of changing lots of elements/gameplay in our game, we decided to revise the bugs we found, and added the elements we need in the second stage of the game.
The things we’ve done this week:
- Painted trees and create bad environment.
- Added texture to the eagle model.
- Tested fire VFX.
- Added speeding-up UI.
- Changed the AI voiceover based on feedback.
Environment Art:
We painted the trees to the before-climate-change terrain, added fog to the environment to create the distance, and created the bad environment draft with the fire VFX.

Characters
Here’s the eagle with texture painted. We are pushing the bald eagle model to riggers to do the rigging and animation.
And we also tested the fish animation in Maya. The next step is to decide the swimming path of the fish, and consider how to make the moving fish easy to catch.

UI/UX
Based on the feedback we got, we found out that the speeding-up UI was confusing. So, we drew a new one
