Week 5


The things we’ve done this week:

  • Environment: populated multiple kinds of trees and tried different types of materials for landscapes.
  • Eagle Model: did the remesh of the muscle on the wing and tested texture.
  • Other Models: did the procedual stones and fish model.
  • Gameplay: did the fishing testing and following mom eagle testing.

Fishing mechanics

  1. Selection the fish (gray cube -> red cube) using head
  2. Diving with both of the triggers
  3. After catching the fish -> fade out -> reposition to the start point -> flap to fly again


Following mechanics:

  1. Starting at the nest, players need to flap their arms to takeoff
  2. Follow the mom eagle by looking at the direction
  3. Once you get lost -> fade out -> reposition to a point behind the mom eagle
