This is the Spring Break week, and we did the work remotely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The things we\u2019ve done in this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


1. Tested the grass, egg and the nest in the scene<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Tested the LOD of the tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Finished the eagle rigging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Tested the fish animation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Added wind VFX<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Finished the transition voiceover reference and script<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environment Art:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pretty much settled down on the environment, and we will keep polishing it till the final week. This week we painted the grass on the ground, added texture to the nest, added the eggs in the nest, and fixed the LOD of the trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the next step is to paint some flowers and rocks to make the ground more diverse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We finished the rigging of the mom eagle, and we also tested with different poses: flying and diving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next step is to revise the texture for the eagle based on the different poses we are assigning to the model, and by the end of next week, the flying animation will be ready for implementing into the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gameplay Programming:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to make the scene more dynamic, we added an auto-generated wind VFX. It will be generated randomly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we also absorbed some of the feedback from the Halfs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The fish will disappear after we catch it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Added the fish texture and added the outline for selecting fish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    We also finished the voiceover script for the transition video. And for the video content, we are going to render out the scene in our game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
