Week 4 – February 7, 2025

Project Refinement

In this week, our focus was on refining the project’s technical aspects and preparing the production pipeline. The green screen room setup was evaluated, and necessary adjustments were identified to optimize the space. Continued exploration of Autodesk Flow helped assess its potential role within our pipeline. Participation in the Producer Roundtable offered insights into team collaboration and production strategies.

We had a meeting with virtual production experts to share our project updates and seek advices.

Technical Progress

The WLED software was successfully tested, allowing manipulation of LED light colors and animations via phone, adding flexibility to our lighting setups.

Support was provided in setting up the green screen room, and construction of the project website commenced. A blueprint was developed in Unreal Engine to adjust the camera position offset, and initial tests on lighting and miniatures were performed.

Art Progress

Modular pieces were blocked out in Unreal for scene lighting tests, providing a strong foundation for future visual developments. The giant model was created using Zbrush.
