Technical Progress
Despite the corrections made in earlier weeks, residual scale inconsistencies remained difficult to fully eliminate without extensive reshoots. Recognizing our time and resource constraints, we strategically shifted our approach. Instead of forcing every shot to be a hybrid virtual production, we leaned into cinematography and editing techniques: employing a greater number of close-up shots to obscure problematic transitions, tightening scene rhythms through careful edits, and interweaving fully physical, fully digital, and hybrid shots into a mixed montage. This editorial shift allowed us to highlight the strongest aspects of each technique without being constrained by initial one-shot hybrid ambitions. Post-processing was completed, including final color grading, light matching, and sound synchronization.
Art Progress
The final demo video was assembled from a carefully curated blend of physical, virtual, and hybrid shots. Visual consistency was strengthened through targeted color correction and selective use of digital effects to bridge any gaps. Miniature touch-ups were performed between reshoots to maintain aesthetic continuity, and scene transitions were crafted to emphasize emotional beats rather than technical fidelity.

Others
All project documentation was finalized, with a major emphasis on framing our work as a series of technical and creative experiments rather than a single polished deliverable. Reflections on production trade-offs, cost-benefit analyses, and process efficiencies were included to provide value for future teams facing similar hybrid production challenges. The website was fully updated with new behind-the-scenes materials, evolution breakdowns, and final results. Archiving of all project assets and backups was completed, and each team member prepared personal reflection notes summarizing their contributions and growth for future portfolio use and career discussions.
