This week we did our initial brainstorming
The brainstorming was divided into 3 sections, and we summarized everything on a big post-it note.

Initial brainstorming:
The first section was about technical problems: which game engine should we use? We ended up deciding to use Unreal because we wanted to make the game focus more on presenting eye-catching art/environment.
The second section was about game inspirations.
This is Steve’s idea: Discover Split and Unsplit
Players sometimes as a group: people need to constantly move and form different shapes to fight with something or escape from attack.
Sometimes split into individuals: each person needs to go to different sides of the screen to grab/attack sth.

Based on these core features, we found out that Overcooked and It Takes Two are good references for us to start off brainstorming.

The third session is art reference.
Cavern is a huge space, we want to make a grand environment to match the screen size and make use of the softer color palette.
