In week 9, the team started working on the other two core mechanics: Travel Machine Console and Vision gate. Artists were working on the monster design in World 2, continued working on the Mine Girl in World 1, as well as UI assets. We designed and listed out a series of interactions and art assets for world 3 & 4, which the design will be relatively simple with one or two main interaction(s) + core mechanics for the players to explore and enjoy.
Technical perspective: we started implementing the core mechanics of Vision gate and Travel Machine Console into the engine. Taking the functions from the sprints during the first half of the semester helped our programmer be able to manage and adjust certain functionalities so that they fit well into our design for the project.
