The XR team meets with our instructor the first morning of the week to kick off the semester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday we checked out the Quest 3 headset and started our initial setups and prototype 1.0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked through the blue-sky-concept video again as a team together, highlighting moments and ideas that we are excited to try\u2014 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the wall falling down\/ filling the blank, putting things back? Or a picture behind, solving a puzzle?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From here, on Wednesday, we had our very first demo inside the Quest 3!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Starter: a character walking in the space, what could be registered? Door\/floor\/ windows\n
      \n
    • Finding windows, seeing things on the other side of the window (colorful, interactable) replacing those windows with a virtual world<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • What is the interactive component? Interact with the creature outside the window (gaze follow, high five, grabbing the illuminating ball to light up the environment)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Explore the depth and perspectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      • Narrative? Story? A tour? (better if a tour to anywhere\/ working in any space), a story in multiple rooms?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
