Derek Wong
Producer, Programmer
Derek Wong is a software developer and experience designer, currently fulfilling his ETC dream of working on the 5th Floor Space Bridge. If he doesn’t electrocute himself, you will be able to find him behind the walls.


Yifan Chen
Co-Producer, Programmer
Yifan is a programmer with a BS in Mathematical Science from Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on applied mathematics and math modelling. In this project, she focuses on building prototypes with Unity 6 and playtesting those prototypes on the bridge.
Emily Zhang
Artist
Emily is an artist on the team, bringing ideas to life through bold art direction, immersive storytelling, and visually dynamic game worlds. With experience in 2D concept art, UI design, and 3D modeling, she specializes in crafting vibrant, cohesive aesthetics that enhance gameplay and player experience. After graduating from the NYU Game Center, Emily further developed her skills and explored new creative possibilities at CMU ETC. With a passion for creating engaging and meaningful experiences, Emily is dedicated to growing as a game designer and pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling.


Nina Gamboni
Artist
Nina Gamboni is a 2D artist and illustrator with a deep passion for visual storytelling in games and animation. After earning her BFA in Illustration from SCAD, she came to Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) to grow her skills in design and visual development. Her goal is to create memorable and captivating visuals that bring compelling narratives to life in both games and film.
Junru Yang
Artist
Junru is a software project manager who is currently exploring her ability in the world art. She is currently working on the hardware setup of the Space Bridge. She is also ready to work on the interactive design for this LBE project.

Ruth Comley is an associate teaching professor at ETC.


Dave Culyba
Project Instructor
Dave Culyba is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Curriculum at the Entertainment Technology Center. He teaches Building Virtual Worlds, one of the four immersion courses for new students. Through his courses, he focuses on game design, transformational design and experience design — particularly as they intersect with technology. As the Director of Curriculum his focus is on developing new ways for creative professionals to plan, create and problem solve as teams.
Beyond the ETC, Dave works as a game designer and developer at Ludoliminal, a board game publisher founded by his partner, Sabrina Culyba. He also really likes spreadsheets.
Dave Culyba joined the ETC in 2013.
