Carnival

Due to the Spring Carnival and several of our members leaving on the East Coast trip, this week will be a short one with only having core hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 

Art

We have a new version of the room, complete with a new tree animation. This tree has leaves and grows slightly as the time passes. The environment shifts from “night” to “day” as the guests respond to the questions. The bookshelves are filled with books, the models all of textures, and the ceiling has an intricate pattern on it. We will continue to refine the room further and push until the end.

Tech

UI

We have a vintage-styled UI for now, including the visual cue and the phonebook.

Script

The script has been adjusted, with a new complete set of questions. With this iteration, we have introduced a ramp up in the questions. The preliminary questions are easier and progressively get more and more difficult. With this ramp up, the questions have been made slightly more “mild”. This is something we will continue to test in these final weeks. We have adjusted the dialogue and added unique responses for each question from the narrative. With this new draft of the script (draft 20), we have re-recorded the lines and implemented them into the experience. We will be conducting soft openings with this new version and will be awaiting feedback.

Sound

We have a sound effect that plays when guests touch the buttons on the phone, allowing them to have audio confirmation that their actions are being registered. 

Furniture

The furniture is currently being shipped and will be set up once everything arrives.

Softs Preparations

Monday we will be having our soft open where faculty members will be coming to test our current product. We are working hard to make sure everything is ready.
