{"id":19,"date":"2025-09-04T20:43:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T20:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.etc.cmu.edu\/kicks-lab\/?p=19"},"modified":"2025-09-22T14:51:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T14:51:54","slug":"week-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.etc.cmu.edu\/kicks-lab\/week-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our team reconvened as a group for the first time after break to discuss the project, our roles, our questions and other organization matters such as deciding on core hours and advisor meeting times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Our Team Roles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Libby Egan &#8211; Co-Producer and Game\/Sound Designer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Samantha Lai &#8211; Co-Producer, UX\/UI, and Sound designer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jiwon Park &#8211; UX\/UI and supporting artist&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skye Gao &#8211; Artist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Steven Wang &#8211; Programmer and Game designer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After our initial meeting with our faculty advisors we gained insights on our clients Ansys and Zellerfeld. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then on Friday our team presented our compositional box to other teams in the ETC and received our initial round of feedback .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our composition box, we defined our target audience and transformational goals. We also identified possible barriers and the initial and transformed states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the standalone composition box invited some confused or misaligned comments, eventually after redirected the feedback with a clarifying question &#8220;What would you do if you were a R&amp;D department head at a shoe company and had 36 months?
