Quarters Presentation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, we finished the quarters presentation to ETC faculties to gain feedback on our future development and help us clear our proejct goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the walkarounds, we summarized all the notes we got and figured out what to follow and what are out of scope in this list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to Use Game Systems to Convey the Peace Story<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • How does the puzzle convey music theory and cultural contexts?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • We need to put the most effort into this design.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • We\u2019ll try our best to let the puzzle and environment fit the historical setting in that time period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • Create scenarios for three different players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Define what they are thinking and what the game is doing to engage them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            • Allow improvisation\/play to create whatever songs players want, making them meaningful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Out of scope for now, but we will consider it after completing major development.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              • Make sure the music sounds harmonious with any combinations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                • Use AI tools to analyze music and sound for emotional states.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Out of scope, but we\u2019ll take emotions into consideration when composing music for different scenarios.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  • Faculty want to see more cultural and historical background provided in the game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • We\u2019ll incorporate those elements.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      Feeling of Playing Flute<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      • Faculty want to see the image\/model of the flute in the game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • This is within scope, and we\u2019ll make a 2D\/3D simulation of flute playing when the player inputs music notes.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

                        Team Bonding!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        After the quarters presentation, the team went out for a bonding dinner. We shared stories about our lives and past experiences, creating a strong foundation for tackling the upcoming tasks together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
