Week 8 October 25th, 2024 –


Team MoonRover meet to discuss our plans for the rest of the semester.

We are entering full-production mode in all aspects, with refining and nailing down our art style; and implementing all of the assets including UI elements, models, sound effects, and visual effects into our designed environment. With the remaining five weeks for full production, for week 8, we are creating 2D concept art for the rover, determining the design for the three-level of all the settlements, creating solar panel model, UI for task board (checkbox + targets), continue working on VR networking code as well as implementing all the UI elements we have into the world, and composing background music soundtrack. We are also open for more playtests as we keep refining and implementing our game experience.
