Hi!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week is ETC soft opening week! We had five faculties signed up for the our soft opening: Mo, Scott, Ricardo, Mike and Brenda!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for coming! And we got extremely valuable advice on our animation: lighting \/ stage design \/ motions \/ styles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Lighting: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Overall lighting has a very strong contrast between colors. Hard and dark shadows need to be improve <\/li>
  2. Lighting quality needs to be improved. The team should think about the light source of each scene<\/li>
  3. Lighting of limbo stage needs to be re-designed<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For Staging (transition):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Some of the transitions in the background are not clear to the audience.\u00a0<\/li>
    2. Repeating elements in usages<\/li>
    3. Falling speed from the chessboard does not match the expectation of natural human falling<\/li>
    4. Limbo transitions in merging 2 avatars need a better transition. Can be lighting exposure<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For Motion (Mocap animation \/ Camera):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Need more animation on avatar’s hands <\/li>
      2. Fix some of sliding animation offsets<\/li>
      3. Difference between <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        For Style (Color grading \/ visual post-processing):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Will need to adjust post-processing in Unreal Engine<\/li>
        2. Need to increase the render quality <\/li>
        3. Some of the assets, specially assets models in hero shots, need to be smoothed in poly counts<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
