Week 3 – Sep 16th

Hello!

Brainstorming

This week we primarily focused on brainstorming and prepping for 1/4s on Friday. We had an end goal of ~50 ideas, meaning each member would bring roughly ten concepts to the table.

Throughout the process of brainstorming, which for us meant both solo and the team at the whiteboard calling out ideas, we noticed the natural formation of categories. Education, Entertainment, UI/UX, and Tech.

We spent the rest of the week categorizing the concepts on a google sheet and then prioritizing the most interesting to us, our faculty instructors, and our client.

In the end, our organized list looked like this:

The categories, concept, time commitment, and team members involved being listed, allow us to prioritize which ideas and in what order we should explore.

As we want to explore roughly 10 ideas, the team began research on the individual ideas that interested them the most so we could begin developing them as quickly as possible.

For 1/4s we decided to create different mood boards for all the categories, for example:

Our next blog will address the feedback received at 1/4s and our game plan for the rest of the semester.

Until next week,
