Ricardo is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon and uses his skills and knowledge to teach students outside of the traditional academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has taught classes in 3D art, specializing in modeling and texture creation. He also taught game design, animation, and production classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ricardo works to improve the academic culture with consistent and robust service on various committees and boards, organizing multiple events, updating classes and curricula, and connecting with the community in Pittsburgh. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ketul Majmudar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nSubject Matter Expert<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
Ketul is a game designer currently working at Meta. He has shipped Asgard’s Wrath 2 and God of War Ragnarok. He is a graduate from Carnegie Mellon University\u2019s Entertainment Technology Center and has shipped three mobile titles as a VR game designer and programmer. He also likes to blog about game design and play action adventure games in his free time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ruth Comley<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nProject Instructor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
Ruth Comley is an educator that has been teaching undergrad and graduate classes for 28 years in the areas of digital art, experience design, and project management. She has a Specialized Associates degree in Industrial Design, a Bachelor\u2019s of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Entertainment degree in Entertainment Technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently Ruth is an Associate Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University where she teaches Masters classes in Project Production, Digital Art, and Experience Design\u00a0in the Entertainment Technology Center. She is also the Art Director for Stage and Steel Productions,\u00a0Khymira Entertainment, and an active Board member of StriplightCommunity Theater. There she designs and\u00a0produces seasonal festivals and events while also writing, producing, and directing theatrical plays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How does our project relate to the Rifts RPG?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n Although our project is inspired by the Rifts universe, we are not<\/em> affliciated with Rifts. This project is purely for educational purposes only<\/em>. We will not commerializes this product. We are using the Rifts content to help answer design questions regarding out level. <\/p>\n\n\n\nIf our game is one level, then what context does the level reside in?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n We imagine our level set in a game where the player is a Dhampir that has joined the Reid Rangers in order to get revenge on the Vampire Intelligence. At this point in the game, the player is tasked with infiltrating a temple where a map to the vampire intelligence is located and saving a group of prisioners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
