Jinyi Dai
Gameplay Programmer/Game Designer
Jinyi is a programmer with great passion for gameplay programming and game design. She graduated from Zhejiang University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Digital Media Technology in 2022. She is currently perusing her Master’s Degree in Entertainment Technology in CMU.
Xun Zhang
Tech Artist/3D Artist
Xun Zhang is an architectural designer in transition, now pursuing a path as a technical artist and programmer in the gaming and entertainment technology industry. With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute, and currently enrolled in the Master’s in Entertainment Technology program at Carnegie Mellon University, he is blending his design expertise with programming to contribute to interactive virtual experiences.
Polly Yan
Level Designer/Producer/Game Designer
Tingyu (Polly) Yan is a game/level designer and creative producer. She has a Level Design certification with CGMA. With her background in industrial design, she takes her knowledge of 3D art, interaction design, and passion for the game and entertainment industry into her studies at CMU.
Rushil Sojitra
Level Designer/Producer/Narrative Designer
Rushil is a budding level designer and creative producer, aspiring to create innovative and engaging experiences through the interactive medium of games. With a programming and UI/UX background, Rushil aims to bring technical as well as creative insights along with his passion for creating games to the entertainment industry. He has worked on developing and designing several small virtual worlds during his time at ETC as a programmer and game designer.
Henry Lin
Tech Artist/3D Artist
Tianyi is a passionate and dedicated technical artist in his first year attending the Entertainment Technology Program. Right now he is focusing on making fantastic visual effects for the project. Tianyi picks Computer Graphics as his elective for this semester and is excited about leveraging his dual expertise in art and technology to create immersive and visually stunning game experiences. Mike Xu
AI Programmer/Game Designer
Mike is a passionate gameplay programmer and software engineer. He earned a double major in computer science and game development during his undergraduate study at UC Irvine. He is aiming to work on AI-programming in Unreal Engine during his first year study at the ETC. His fun fact is I count cards at casinos for profits professionally, and he was banned from 20 casinos.

Ruth Comley
Ruth Comley is an educator that has been teaching undergrad and graduate classes for 28 years in the areas of digital art, experience design, and project management. She has a Specialized Associates degree in Industrial Design, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Entertainment degree in Entertainment Technology.
Ricardo Washington
Ricardo serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. He specializes in giving the students instruction and guidance in art related areas of their program.
Ricardo was a faculty member at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in the Game Art and Design department.
