This week, we kept working on indoor and on-site part, and made a lot of progress
Playtest:
We had the ETC playtesting day last Saturday! Around 20 playtesters tested our game. Here are some photos and videos.
About the feedback, because of most of them are not our target users, but we still receive some great feedback.
- May add text description for each card
- May adjust how we dealing with the quiz card (User should not keep scanning the quiz card to answer the quiz)
Art and Design:
For the on-site part, we had all UI design now. And our client also gave us the list of content we should build in the scene.
Our artist tried their best to create models.
For the indoor part, the card design is almost finished, and we are waiting for all text descriptions.
Tech:
We had a demo on-site! And the indoor part was implemented…
For the on-site part, we were focusing on basic game logic and UI interactions. So far we are able to use a tablet to scan the wooden sign image and show the summer session model with sphere objects around the model. Those sphere objects are the placeholder for clickable objects and are able to interact with. So far, we have finished introducing part of the UI to tell users how to interact with the model. Next step, we will add more UI to lead players through the three different spots.
Production:
This week we finalized the milestone.
