For this week, the team and 1\/4 walkaround presentation with faculties and instructors. We presented our initial design, team logo, and questions and concerns about the project. <\/p>\n\n\n

Ideas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We proposed two different AR experiences designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first one is an on-site AR scan experience. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second one is an indoor scan card to view AR experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculties provided their feedback and concerns about project learning goals, device choice, difficulties of implementing water flow in AR, which are all helpful for the team’s future design and productions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Platform<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For this week\u2019s client meeting, we finalized the device choice with our client. We used to hesitate on using IOS or android devices since the main group of demographics do not have access to tablets in school. After consultation with the client, the client decided to purchase 2-3 Android tablets<\/strong> for students to use. The team also acquired a testing device from the ETC to help build the AR experience.<\/p>\n\n\n

Education Content Survey<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Other questions that the team addressed in the client meeting are how long the entire experience would be and how many students will be observing the AR experience at once. The final answers for these questions will be answered after the team communicated with principles from the school. The team also distributed an educational content survey to the Lincoln school to better understand how the team should design and deliver this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the future plan, programmers are working on creating a white-box prototyping to test running AR applications on Android tablets. The team will also create several prototypes for two proposed initial ideas. The artists in the team are focusing on project poster design and website building.
