Esme Han

Yili Han is a creative technologist and producer passionate about bringing ideas to life through storytelling, visuals, and tech. Currently as a second-year at CMU ETC and with a film production background from NYU Tisch, she specializes in leading teams, managing pipelines, and bridging creative vision with technical execution.

Isabella Chen

Isabella is the 3D and Technical Artist on the team. She holds a BFA from New York University’s Game Center, where she studied 3D modeling and character rigging. At ETC, she has developed her skills as a 3D generalist through various BVW projects, while also exploring visual effects and other technical art disciplines. In the future, she aims to specialize as a 3D game art.

James Huang

James Huang is a technical designer who loves creating unique experiences that surprise and delight players. With a background in electrical engineering, he explores innovative mechanics and interactions that push the boundaries of gameplay. His experience with VR development and passion for board games influence his approach to designing immersive and engaging experiences.

Victor Jhou

Zih-You (Victor) Jhou is a producer and technical innovator with a strong background in project management, operations, and real-time technology. With over three years of experience managing League of Legends and Team Fight Tactics operations in Southeast Asia, he has developed expertise in team coordination, production workflows, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Yingjie Wang

Yingjie’s is passionate about creating human-centered technology that supports and augments human creativity and expression. Her work lives at the intersection of computer science, design, and visual arts, seeking to connect, aid, and delight through visual storytelling.

Project Advisors

For nearly three decades Charles worked within the context of sports, fashion, active lifestyle, esports and connected products for leading global brands such as Adidas, Puma and Converse. With an Industrial Design degree from the School of Design, his professional starting point as a product designer specializing in footwear transformed to executive level leadership shaping visions, teams and global strategies. Charles has returned to campus and serves as Assistant Professor Leadership and Innovation at CMU Entertainment Technology Center. Alongside his teaching he consults to a range of industries helping brands navigate their vision, corporate product engines shape new experiences and venture 

Game designer, experience designer, interactive artist and curator with a diverse background in casual, AAA, and expressive game development. Strong leadership skills and experience. Deep interest in experimental and non-traditional game design that breaks the mold of predictable products and experiences, to reach new audiences without sacrificing quality. Frequent public speaker on subjects of experimental games, art games, sexuality in gameplay, expressive gameplay, and games for change.

Conrad McCarthy

Conrad McCarthy is a Research and Development Engineer at Magnes AG where he works to find new solutions for monitoring and improving the mobility of older adults and people with neurological impairments. Conrad has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Robotics, Systems and Control. He is passionate about emerging Health Technologies and their potential to improve quality of life. Conrad lives in Zurich, Switzerland, and enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing in the mountains in his free time.
