Intro
This week we are continually researching learning standards and educational game references.
Subjects
After conversations with instructors and clients we narrow down Science to Physics as a subject for our prototype. We decided to use Physics and History and make two educational game prototypes.
Reference for research on educational games and assessment
Stealth Assessment and Evidence Centered Design(ECD) are our main references for implementing assessment in Roblox.
In Stealth Assessment: Measuring and Supporting Learning in Video Games the author gives examples of stealth assessment in Newtonโs Playground intended to measure levels of creativity, persistence, and conceptual understanding of Newtonian physics during gameplay which could help us a lot in making similar experiences for Roblox.
Basically, the idea for ECD in educational games is to use three different model to help to track and analyze the proof of player learning. And we want to apply those models in Roblox.

Next Week
For the next week, we will work on brainstorming and having ideas for our prototypes. We will also organize what we learned from the Educational assessment.
