Week 1 Blog: Introduction of team and project

Introduction

Hello! We are RobLearnX, six students from the Entertainment Technology Center. This semester we are collaborating with Roblox to explore assessment methods for educational projects in Roblox. We will research different educational assessment methods and apply those methods to Roblox.ย

Initial Client Meeting

We met our client Genevieve from Roblox. For the client requirements, we will be using Roblox studio to design Prototypes that could help educational developers better assess learning. We will find specific learning standards and explore how to design the game to teach that standard

Learning Standards/Subjects

We currently thinking about Science and History as the subjects for our demo.

Target Audience

Our target audience includes two groups: the target audience for our design document will be Roblox and educators. The target audience for our education game prototype will be students around the age of 13.
