Final Polish & Full Gameplay Completion
This week, we focused on final fixes, refinements, and overall experience polish. Most importantly, we completed the full gameplay flow from start to finish. All levels are now connected, playable, and functioning as a cohesive experience.
Based on previous playtests, we identified that some players felt unclear about objectives or next steps during certain moments. To address this, we implemented clearer UI prompts and instruction cues to guide player actions without disrupting immersion. In addition, we introduced short inner monologue voice lines that activate at key moments. These subtle audio cues help nudge players forward when they hesitate, maintaining pacing while preserving narrative tone.

Visually, we made adjustments to the robot’s appearance to better support the crash-site story. We removed and modified certain arm components so the robot appears damaged and partially broken rather than brand new. This change strengthens the narrative coherence between the environment and the robot’s physical state.
On the technical side, we resolved multiple bugs across interaction systems, synchronization, and environmental triggers. These fixes significantly improved stability and smoothness, resulting in a more complete and fluid overall experience.
This week marked the transition from iterative building to final refinement, bringing the project to a fully playable and polished state.
