Week 8

Ahhhhhhh!!! Just back from our week-long, Fall Break. Rest much? Doesn’t matter, its time to put all the Halves praise, feedback and confidence to work prepping a playtest-able prototype version for playtesters to experience on PLAYTEST DAY.

As a reunified, Team Hive, we started off the week sharing about our prior week of Fall Free-Time shenanigans and then delved into the faculty feedback and team reflections of our Halves’ performance and status.

We ‘Meet the expectation’ of 60%-90% of the faculties survey criterias, while splitting the ‘Exceeds’ and ‘Below’ expectations 11.1%-40% and 10%-20%, respectively

Overall, our faculty understands what we are planning to deliver and ability to do so, the final hold outs want what we all want, for us to SHOW to PROVE.

PLAYTEST DAY is a huge deal, to have the intended audience, as well as, any willing participants to test the viability of our ‘planned’ interactive, intended goals, function and outcomes – and all.

We mapped out a plan of components to have done, to present micro-experiences to test for the illustrious ETC Playtest Day, November 1st. Namely, testing gameplay flow, narrative understanding and for the first time, how the digital components will be used and integrated. The following visuals are just a few of the components crafted in week one of our two-week Playtest Day preparations.
