Week 9

This week we spent most of our time together getting ready for Playtest Day. We started our week by planning which things we need and prioritizing tasks in the different areas of the project.

For narrative we worked on dialogue clues that would be given to the players through the phone in our experience. We wrote the clues based on the location they would be unlocked by, added slang to them to make them fit our project better, and recorded them with placeholder voice actors (mostly other ETC students).

We also worked on testing how to position and scale the rooms to look best in the Tilt Five platform.

For art we worked on character profile cards, as well as graffiti works, location cards and making more assets for the digital part of the game.

At the end of the week we finally had our Playtest Day. During the morning slot we had some issues with our tech, so we had to playtest our physical assets exclusively, but even without our digital aspect our players were able to have fun and discover some important clues. We got a lot of helpful information, suggestions and feedback from our playtesters.
