Tacit is an interdisciplinary R&D pitch team from Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), experimenting with how the underexplored potential of vibrotactile feedback in haptic gloves, paired with audio and visuals, can shape complex emotional experiences in VR through carefully designed haptic moments that build up a single emotional arc.
