We tested about 10 groups of naive guests, 2~4 people in each group. We made the surveys and observation lists to figure out the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The timing of each step<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The usability of each functionality buttons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guests\u2019 satisfaction of the narrative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guests\u2019 satisfaction of the gameplay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guests\u2019 satisfaction of the whole process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, \u201cSatisfaction\u201d is a tricky evaluation, since you can\u2019t ask users\u2019 satisfaction directly. But instead, we made the \u201csatisfaction\u201d easy to evaluate by specific metrics. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>How do guests understand the difference between the 3 postcards?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What\u2019s the reason for the guests&#8217; choice of the reply?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do guests understand the message we hope to convey in the game?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Did guests read the whole narrative words? Why or why not?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To decrease the bias, we designed the choices of each question and encouraged guests to write down their answers directly instead of making choices out of what we gave them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UI We kept iterating on the UI.&nbsp; Animation Tech Then we gathered together for the Playtest Day on Saturday.
