After our much-needed Spring Break, we sprang right back into action! With GDC around the corner, we opted to do a lot of team planning this week. Additionally, during Spring Break, David Purta set up a sound system for our experience as well as gave us a newer projector for our experience! We are super grateful for his help!
The first order of business was coming up with a design to help reinforce our plunger. We got help from David Purta with figuring out what to do. He suggested to buy a small box and gluing/screwing the electronics into. William researched a box for us to use for the plunger.

We also had a field trip this week! Jonathan took YC, William, and Skye to Pinball Perfection, a place that has a ton of pinball machines, from old to new. The team gained a lot of insight from this trip into what to put in the new design, as the owner took them around and showed a ton of interesting pinball games.
You can see a video of the trip here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CeixgpEEntsX6FXQy6F75m308MYTFQb2/view?usp=sharing
Afterwards, YC finalized the design for the playfield, shown below. Jasmine got to work with adjusting the playfield in Unity and programming new aspects such as tunnels. The art team continued to work on assets, implementing new bumpers and adding backgrounds and announcers.

He also wrote up documentation of all of the game mechanics within the experience. From here, the art team was able to fully design each of their themed playfields.
Since next week is GDC, half the team will be out at the conference. The art team and Jasmine will remain at the ETC and continue their work building the experience!
