  • Playtest with middle school students on Friday 2/23
  • Start to think about level design inside the heart
  • Polish our prototype and build a version before playtest
  • Finish the play seat assembling
  • Figure out white blood cell’s feature in the game

This week’s prototype will be used for playtest on Friday. Before we build the prototype, we have set clear goals for this week:

  • Incorporate all existing features into the prototype without any bugs, such as spraying viruses and evading attacks from white blood cells.
  • Develop the game flow, including the starting point and the endpoint.

The features (white blood cell attack & spray the virus) are implemented into the prototype and works well.
The crosshair UI complete by the artist. The prototype works smoothly on the PC.
UI of the health bars were implemented.

During the playtest, the camera rotation is not good for players to observe the environment because the limitation of the camera angle will lack of the sight from the vehicle. We also may need some lighting support in the UE because we want to figure out the lighting inside the heart.

We implement the health bars of vehicle and patient and the white blood cells will attack players if players are close to the white blood cells. Spray virus is more smooth than before.
The color of the heart was change to pink.

This is the demo of how white blood cells attacking players.
