[Week 2] Background Research

In this week, we had our first in-person meeting with Jessica in CMU HCII session. In this meeting, we previously did some researches on these questions from Jessica:

What did you learn about peer feedback?
What did you learn about Discord?
What do you hope to accomplish by quarters?
What is blocking you?

To answer these questions, we divide our works to 2 parts. One part is product research, another part is academic research. We basically did Information Structure of Discord, Competitive Analysis of peer feedback software, plug-ins and bots research on Discord, and read bunch of papers about peer feedback research.

Besides all the background research, we also brainstormed our logo and designed our team photo. We used ZEPETO to create our own avatars as our photos.
