WEEK 2 – Production & Tech Demo

Introduction

With the spark lit, we needed structure. This week was about building the backbone of the project: our roadmap, backlog, and the first drafts of how a player might enter this world. The stage is now visible, even if the curtains are still closed.

We decided to treat each week as a sprint, aiming to produce something deliverable—or at least demo-ready—for every instructor meeting. At the same time, we’ve realized the challenges ahead: everyone’s schedules are very different, so some compromises will inevitably be needed.

On top of that, the updates we received from the relevant copyright owners were, at best, not ideal. We’ll continue tracking the situation next week and adjust our approach as needed.

Progress

  • Quarter plan drafted and broken down into milestones
  • Backlog created, tying every task to a deliverable
  • Early designs of the player’s entry point into the experience

  • Prepare for the quarter walkthrough
  • Figure out the copyright issues of Andy Warhol
