This week, we are taking the feedback we got from the play test day and revising our software to make it more usable.

  • [UI/Programming] Not sure how to rotate the shirt
  • [Programming] Difficult to rotate the shirt all the way
  • [UI/Programming] Need back button
  • [Programming] Continue button appears after interactions are completed
  • [Programming/UI] “Get Start” button should change to different text, like “Next” or “Scan QR”
  • [UI/Programming] Want to look through the selection of clothing in app
    • [UI/Programming] Want to have a closet of all the clothes I’ve scanned
  • [UI/Programming] Want to see how the sustainable shopping goal was fulfilled by my outfit choice
  • [UI/Programming] Would like description of what resources are being saved by the piece of clothing
  • Some people didn’t pay attention to the tags, only the screens

Feedback For Visualization:

  • [Programming/Art] Graphics take too long to show up
  • [Art/Programming] Want more different clothes
  • [Art/Programming] Want to see more environmental impacts other than water
  • [UI/Art/Programming] Context and comparison of the information is important (is 213 gallons saved a lot?)
    • Water pouring out didn’t explain enough by itself
  • [UI/Art/Programming] Shirt material breakdown is confusing – want to see benefits of different materials
  • Scanning a shirt that comes to life on screen is good!
  • Watering effect is good!
  • Interactive is good!
  • [Art] Some people didn’t understand how the background is related to the clothes
  • [Art] Why did the trees disappear
  • [Art] Did not think the 60% and 40% were actually 60% and 40% of the shirt
    • Recommendation to more clearly highlight parts of the shirt instead of splitting it
  • Understood that the T-shirt represents its impact on the environment
  • Visuals are beautiful and pleasing to look at
