  • Week 4 (Feb 2 – Feb 8) — Engine Integration & Core Systems

    This week marked the transition into in-engine development.

    Development:

    Implemented core systems, including:
    Character controls (3C)
    Basic interaction systems (e.g., notebook interaction)

    Narrative:

    Writers collaborated with 2D artists to complete the storyboard

    Art & Tech:

    Tech art began developing the “Grey Waves” visual effect
    Environment art continued refining and polishing assets
    The classroom scene reached a stable visual state

    Additionally, reference footage was captured to support production.

  • Week 3 (Jan 26 – Feb 1) — Iteration & Visual Development

    This week focused on refining design and pushing forward visual implementation.

    Design:

    Iterated on level design based on narrative updates
    Entered production design phase

    Art & Implementation:

    Completed the first playable “destroyed classroom” scene prototype
    Finished modeling core classroom assets (desks, chairs, blackboard, etc.)
    Finalized the overall building structure

    For the first time, the project reached a cohesive and playable visual state.
