Hello!

During this week we made some adjustments to character clothing and the living room set-up and design to better fit the character’s background.

Initially, the living room set-up had the painting easel in the living room corner, next to the television set. We decided, that particular set-up, didn’t represent the significance that painting has in Emma’s life. We moved the bed into the larger room, to replicate an artist’s walk up studio, and filled that separate room with the easel, canvases, paint, as well as a drawing desk.

In the early days of storyboarding, Emma leaves for work, so the clothing was more business casual. As the story changed, and Emma spent her whole day painting (or attempting to paint), it would make more sense for her clothing to be something she’d paint in.

Change of Contents: Art – Character cloth

From leather jacket and a tank-top, we made the decision to change the character, Emma, outfit to something more comfortable to wear at home and her high heel to a leather boots.
