Andy Pang

Programmer

Andy is a gameplay programmer and systems-focused game developer working primarily in Unity (C#) and Unreal Engine 5 (C++ and Blueprints). I build and iterate on gameplay systems — combat, player controls, physics-based interactions, and AI behaviors.

Yuntao Wang

Designer

Yuntao Wang is a spatial experience designer exploring the intersection of architecture, games, and immersive environments. Rooted in architectural thinking, he designs spaces as experiential systems—where narrative, interaction, and perception shape how worlds are felt and understood.

Freida Hong

3D Artist

Freida Hong is a 3D Generalist specializing in layout, lighting, and visual storytelling. Working across real time engines such as Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, as well as offline pipelines in Maya and Arnold, she focuses on crafting atmosphere driven visuals and emotionally resonant scenes. Her work bridges cinematic aesthetics and interactive environments, exploring how light, color, and composition can transform digital spaces into immersive experiences.

With a background in media production and immersive storytelling, she designs characters and systems as expressive mediums—where style, interaction, and play shape how spaces are experienced and remembered.

Benjamin Walker

Game / Experience Designer

Benjamin Walker is an innovative educator and imaginative creative. He believes that games and interactive experiences are essential tools for life skills development. He has designed and developed tabletop games, an LBE IP-themed experience and intentions to continue serious, educational and inspirational games via a small gaming studio. He is contributing to game/experience design and anything else that’s needed to this project.

Tom Corbett

Tom Corbett is an instructor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) and a faculty member for the university’s Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology (IDeATe) Network, a cross-disciplinary program for undergraduate students. Tom teaches courses in game development, virtual and augmented reality, and immersive and spatial technology platforms, blending technical expertise with creative exploration.

Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, Tom worked for Electronic Arts as an Associate Producer, where he managed projects for emerging platforms, streaming technologies, and prototypes for augmented and virtual reality. He also served as Associate Director for the AT&T AdWorks Lab and co-founded the AT&T Experience Council. His diverse background spans video games, interactive exhibits, architecture, distance learning, and medical animation.

Tom also serves as an instructor for the National High School Game Academy, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Pittsburgh Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering volunteerism and community connections. He holds a Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science in Architecture from Virginia Tech.

Brenda Bakker Harger

Brenda Bakker Harger is a theatre director (MFA, Carnegie Mellon University), Improviser, and Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center where she teaches Improvisational Acting and leads diverse interdisciplinary projects. Those projects encompass a variety of technologies (VR, AR, XR, haptics, mobile, etc), but her point of view will always be: there is no amount of technology that can fix a bad idea.  Improv provides the tools that generate those ideas, the structure to relate narrative and experience, and the paradigm for smooth collaboration.
