Sleepy Rabbit or Tenacious Tortoise

Having come out of Spring Break somewhat rested we jumped into production head first.

Over break we realized that the due to the abstract and subjective nature of our content we have had different interpretations of a lot of the design decisions we had made.

There was a disconnect between the writer and the programmers/designers on our team.

Now that the design was more tangible in terms of tasks for the team we got working.

We knew this was a true halfway point for us, Because next week almost all of our team will be away at GDC.

A big achievement of this week: Scoping for the rest of the semester. We were able to scope our design to achievable chunks for the next 6 weeks. Woohoo!

A huge learning: for Danni, our producer was that production is iterative. Procedures can always be improved. Because Jira was not working for the team, we switched to more intuitive yet diverse systems – the marker board, a cork board and spreadsheets.

Note: We will not be having a blog for next week as all of our team was gone to GDC and opted to work through spring break to make up for it.
