Before Thanksgiving break

This week we only have two days for the regular class before thanksgiving break so in this post, we want to briefly talk about our soft-opening plan.

During week 13, we will be presenting our progress in the project room on Wednesday and Friday mornings to about 10 different ETC faculties. Those sessions will be shifting 20mins per person. We will also show the project to our faculty consultant Scott. 

The presentation, won’t be formal like the presentation for the final and the meaning of softs is more about getting feedback from faculties so we will show the demo that can demonstrate the educational game in Roblox and how we assess students learning with data tracking. We will also gather some feedback for part of our final deliverable – document, including one main document introducing the semester-long journey we experienced and what we researched and learned from the project. There are also two separate documents that talk about our two demos.

Next Week

Thanksgiving break we won’t be working on the projects but it is also a good chance to relax and think about how we wanna spend time on the rest two weeks of this project. The week after that we will focus on the documents and preparing for the final presentation based on the feedback we get from softs. Hope you all enjoy the break and see you next week!
