Producer

Yincheng holds a bachelor degree of science in Game Design Major. He is a game designer and also a product strategy specialist who has worked at multiple game companies.

Lead Programmer

Phoebe is a first year Master’s student at the Entertainment Technology Center. She focused on programming and UX design during undergrad. She has experience of co-founding a startup before entering ETC. Currently, she is a game programmer and transferring to the game design field.

Designer & Programmer

Yuan (Aiden) is an experienced game designer who worked in the Chinese game industry for over 5 years. Focuses on gameplay and monetization design.

2D Artist / Animator

Dian is currently a 1st year master student at CMU’s Entertainment Technology Center focusing on game arts and interaction technology. She has experience in project management and game development in game companies, but she is also interested in creating appealing and meaningful art content.

Co-Producer & 2D Artist

Angelian is a first year Master’s student at the Entertainment Technology Center. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. At the ETC, she is primarily interested in art, especially 2D and environments.

Game Designer & UI/UX Designer

Jingyuan (Yuan) is a UX designer & Game designer, currently doing research and studying in the field of interactive entertainment.

Faculty Advisors

Mike is interested in the development and evaluation of transformational games, especially in the areas of education and health care. Mike joined the ETC Faculty in 2008, moving from Carnegie Mellon’s Computer Science Department where he was working at the intersection of speech recognition, image processing, and multimedia interface development and evaluation. As a member of the Informedia Digital Video Library research team, he received the Allen Newell Award for Research Excellence.

Brenda Bakker Harger is a theatre director (MFA Carnegie Mellon University), improviser, and professor of Entertainment technology at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center where she teaches improvisational acting and leads diverse interdisciplinary projects. As an improviser, Brenda has performed with Pittsburgh Theatresports and SAK Theatre, and has led improv workshops nationally and internationally from theatre improvisers to executive leadership training (Carnegie Bosch Institute) to video game companies.
